POSITION - Training Manager

To be responsible for overseeing training operations in and around Heathrow.
KEY TASK AREAS / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Hold overall responsibility for the effective daily operation and service delivery of ICTS (UK) Training across the Heathrow (LHR) region, including planning, annual leave coordination, and ensuring compliance with KPIs and SLAs.
- Ensure adherence to the company’s Quality Assurance Framework (QAF) and meet client expectations regarding all aspects of training delivery.
- Oversee training databases and ensure timely and accurate submission of training-related data and reports.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to gather feedback and support the planning and development of enhanced training services.
- Collaborate closely with the LHR Management Team to ensure consistent feedback and strategic planning for training delivery and improvement.
- Supervise and support the professional performance and development of the Training Team.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of training delivery by maintaining high standards across the team, encouraging a positive work ethic, professionalism, and a strong sense of compliance.
- Ensure the Training Team leads by example through high standards of conduct, presentation, and attitude, acting as role models for operational staff.
- Conduct staff appraisals in line with ICTS (UK) & Ireland Ltd policies and procedures.
- Deliver high-quality Initial, Recurrent, On-the-Job, and covert/overt training, supporting staff development and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Take ownership of internal company systems relevant to the training function

PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Proven experience in a team management role
- Minimum two years of experience as a certified instructor (desirable but not essential).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast paced, evolving environment.
- Flexible and adaptable to meet operational demands
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and capable of adapting to new systems
- A leadership approach based on setting a positive example in both management and training
- Well organised, presentable, and professional in appearance and conduct
