Main Purpose of the Role 

 

To provide administrative duties in relation to the processing and issuing of Airport ID’s ensuring all regulatory requirements are met whilst delivering a positive and efficient service in a busy environment. 

To assist both the ID Station Manager, Compliance Manager and Security Team lead on a day to day basis in resource planning.  

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Administrative duties to include filing, photocopying and updating electronic documents 
  • To comply with Company Policies and Procedures and site-specific procedures. 
  • To provide a positive contribution towards maintaining an environment of equal opportunity, in accordance with the Equal Opportunities and Diversity policy. 
  • To fulfil Health and Safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the Company’s Health and Safety Policy. 
  • To undertake such duties at the direction of Supervisors, Manager’s or Site Management, appropriate to the level and character of work, which may reasonably be required by the department/site. 
  • To Vet new applicants 
  • Competent minute taker
  • To support the Security operation when needed.

 Resource Planning 

  • Using forecast data build a workflow plan via Excel for upload into an automated planning system 
  • To interrogate the system generated plan to ensure it meets the operational requirements making appropriate adjustments as required 
  • Publishing the final plan to the workforce in accordance with agreed timescales 
  • Continually review the daily plan to identify potential issues and pro-actively amend the resource allocation accordingly  
  • Close liaise with both operational and management and support teams 
  • On-going database and system management  

Payroll Administrator 

  • Validating employee hours worked using an in-house system 
  • Processing holiday requests 
  • Processing absence (sickness) documentation 
  • A variety of general administrative tasks to include, but not limited to, filing, photocopying, scanning 
  • Database and document management

Previous security experience would be an advantage
