The Role

This hands-on role sits within our HR team at ICTS HQ and partners directly with our divisional Aviation operations across England and Scotland. You will be a trusted voice for our people, translating the People strategy into meaningful action and driving positive change at every level.

Day-to-day, you'll be:

• Acting as a trusted HR Business Partner to senior operational leaders across the Aviation division, providing expert guidance on all aspects of employee relations and people management
• Leading and personally owning complex ER casework, including restructures, TUPE transfers and change management programmes
• Line managing and developing two HR Advisors, fostering a high-performance, inclusive team culture
• Driving delivery of localised employee engagement initiatives and DEIB activities that reflect the diversity of our workforce
• Identifying emerging people trends across the division and translating them into proactive, evidence-based solutions
• Influencing business change primarily at tactical and operational level, with the opportunity to shape strategic thinking, balancing risk with pragmatic, commercial solutions
• Coaching and developing operational managers to build capability and improve business efficiency
• Working collaboratively with trade union representatives and key stakeholders to maintain constructive working relationships

What You'll Bring

We will invest in your growth, but a few things are essential from the start:

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner in a high-volume, complex ER environment, ideally multi-site and operationally driven
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and the confidence to apply it in ambiguous, real-world situations
• Demonstrable experience working with trade unions
• Emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills to build credibility quickly across a diverse, dispersed workforce
• Experience leading or contributing to TUPE, restructuring or significant change management programmes
• Solid commercial awareness and the judgement to balance people priorities with business imperatives
• Line management experience with a track record of developing others
• Strong analytical skills, including Excel, to surface data-driven people insights

Nice to have:

• Experience in an outsourced or contracted services environment
• Previous exposure to aviation, security or other highly regulated sectors
• Experience working in an agile or rapidly evolving organisation
