As a Front of House Security Officer you will deliver operational excellence as part of a team of Security Officers, ensuring the effective support of site based operational requirements and provide a quality service and prompt responses to all incidents. 
 
An experienced Security Officer, with exceptional customer-focus, you will carry out a range of duties including:
 
Essential Job Functions:
Ensure all personnel on site adhere to and comply with access control policies and procedures.
Control entry and exit into car park for vehicles.
Prevent unauthorized personnel from entering the site.
Conduct internal and external patrols during the shift to ensure increased security visibility.
Identify and report incidents, managing all movement through vehicle barriers and internal entry to building to support the security and safety of all personnel on site.
Ensure all personnel on site adhere to and comply with security and access control policies and procedures.
Respond to safety and emergency situations and maintain a safe and secure work environment.
Monitoring of security alarms to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
Ensure the compliance to the client fire policy.
Ensure the integrity of the building remains secure at all times.
 
The shifts are normally 8 hours duration covering days and nights, Monday to Friday; 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00. However, as part of a small team you will need to be reliable and flexible to support your colleagues.
 
 
An SIA CCTV (PSS) Licence is essential as well as a Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license, and to succeed in this role you will also need:
 
•  Strong customer service skills and experience
•  Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
•  The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
•  Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in security
•  Good IT and administration skills
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) particularly with team members, line management, contractors, visitors, and client employees
•  Five years’ checkable history and references
•  To pass a criminal records check (CRC) to the required standards
 
The following would also be useful, but are not essential:
•   A First Aid at Work qualification
