HOURS OF WORK: Full - Time (40 hrs per week) Typical Office Hours.

RATE OF PAY: £14.17

ICTS is regularly invited to participate in the trialling and development of new aviation security systems and has worked closely with the UK, mainland European and US governments on many occasions. 

 

KEY TASK AREAS / RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

JOB OVERVIEW 

The key function of this role is to provide administrative support to the station by managing schedules, coordinating meetings/interviews, and handing general office tasks like data entry and record-keeping.

 

 PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES 

  • Managing all local security vetting for new and existing staff. 
  • Administration of invoicing, purchase orders, purchase requisitions and any other departmental financial administration tasks including uniform and PPE orders. 
  • Managing airport ID pass applications and renewals. 
  • Managing cost control tasks and reporting this to the Station Manager.  
  • Administration of Security team rosters and data entry to resource management systems.  
  • Ordering of equipment, supplies and consumables required to support and maintain the Security operation.  
  • Organising departmental travel requests. 
  • Planning, organisation and assistance to ensure successful delivery of meetings and company events when required. 
  • Support the security team as directed in the event of any irregularities or extraordinary events.

PERSON SPECIFICATION 

 

 

Essential 

  • 5-year checkable work history 
  • Successful clearance of a Criminal Record Check and Counter Terrorism Check prior to course start date 
  • Excellent communication skills – both oral and written 
  • Available for full time training and exams as required 
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office – primarily Outlook, Word, Teams and Excel)  
  • Able to effectively prioritize tasks to meet the demands of the work presented 
  • Work flexibly on both routine and more complex tasks. 
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced dynamic environment 

 

Desirable 

  • Customer Service experience 
  • Own Transport 
  • Knowledge of the airport
