Corporate Security (Cover) Officer – Edinburgh, Scotland
In this high-profile Security Officer role, you'll ensure the safety and security of the people and property at a prestigious financial client’s site in the centre of Edinburgh.
You will need to be a candidate who reflects the highest of professional standards, focus, and customer service.
You must have current SIA credentials and a minimum of the Emergency First Aid at Work (inc. AED) qualification.
You will need to be an experienced Security Officer, preferably within the Corporate Security market and be able to evidence your skills at a face-to-face interview: with confidence, enthusiasm, and eloquence. You will be tested, if invited to interview.
This is not a freelance role. It is a permanent role within ICTS but does not come with guaranteed working hours. However, in the past year, our Cover Officers have been called upon, on average, for between 3 and 5 shifts per week.
Your rota will vary, from month-to-month. It will generally be published a few weeks in advance, covering standard daily gaps, annual leave, and other planned absences. Each month, there may be further opportunities to cover additional shifts at shorter notice.
Shifts are normally 12 hours’ duration, starting at 7am or 7pm: across any of the 7 days: including Public Holidays.
