  • Managing access control for buildings and car-parks - for employees, visitors and contractors
  • Patrolling the buildings, car parks and grounds to deter and detect problems

  • Being observant to the threat of hostile actors or situations; and be knowledgeable about the processes, policies and personal response expected, when such incidents occur
  • Responding to Critical Incidents such as Fire Evacuation, Medical Emergency, Building Lockdown, etc.
  • Completing regular training and knowledge-checks, to maintain Continuous Professional Development

Substantial experience as a Corporate Security Officer is essential, and to succeed in this role you will also need to evidence at interview:

  • Excellent verbal, written, and numeracy skills: which will be tested at interview stage
  • Strong customer service, team working, and collaboration skills
  • The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • The ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports
  • Competent IT and administration skills including MS Outlook, Word & Excel
