To be part of a Security Management Team providing operational leadership to a team of Managers, Training Managers, Security Supervisors, Controllers and Officers within a large Data Centre environment
Reporting to the Head of Operations the role will drive the team to deliver ‘best in class’ performance standards at all levels, whilst working in partnership with the client management team to ensure full compliance with all processes and security measures.
Principal Accountabilities
- Determine, foster and maintain key relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage and guide a team of Security Managers promoting growth and knowledge, throughout the team
- Work closely with the Security Managers to ensure all operational and contractual requirements are met. Setting objectives, measuring the results and promoting growth and knowledge, throughout the team
- Work closely with the training managers to ensure all training needs are met and training is developed and adapted according to current needs
- Prepare any necessary reports as deemed necessary by training relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead Quarterly meetings with the client management team and ensure monthly KPI meetings are delivered by the security managers responsible for your site(s) and achieve appropriate scoring.
- Ensure proper levels of staffing are provided and to client requirements.
- Develop, in conjunction with the company and client management team, communication initiatives within the cluster to improve health and safety, performance standards and compliance.
- Develop, in conjunction with the company and client management team on going innovations and best practice to adapt to changing security environments and risk levels
- Attend meetings, internal and external, as appropriate
- Other duties as required, to promote and improve the operational standards and performance of the account
- Setting objectives for the site teams – and measuring the results.
- Any other reasonable instruction/duty.

Qualifications and Experience

- To pass a criminal records check (CRC) to the required standards
Desired
- Full UK driving licence.
- Professional qualifications in security management, business administration, or operational leadership.
- Experience working in or alongside technology-led service environments, with awareness of emerging security innovations.
